Disinfection Effect of Short-wave Ultraviolet Radiation(UV-C) on ASFV in Water

Recently, several reports in the Journal of Infection have highlighted the problem of African swine fever (ASF).1 –3 ASF caused by the African swine fever virus (ASFV), is a highly contagious hemorrhagic disease, affecting domestic pigs and wild boar, with a high morbidity and mortality.4 In Asia, with the exception of Russia, China was the first country to experience ASF and reported its first outbreak in Au gust 2018.5 Within a year, ASF quickly spread into all of the provinces in Mainland China.
