Acute myocardial infarction presenting with cardiogenic shock in patients with previous coronary artery bypass graft: Neglected disease or end-stage condition?

It is well acknowledged that patients with multivessel coronary artery disease (CAD) treated with coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) have improved prognosis [1,2]. However, the peculiar clinical and anatomical characteristics of these patients, as well as the sequelae of the surgical intervention itself, may condition future therapeutic interventions and, possibly, clinical outcomes.
