CONCLUSION: The Cogswell triangular flap modified and translated represents a new method available to the oral surgeon, useful in soft tissue management for the extraction of semi-included third mandibular molars. Simple to carry out, it promotes primary intention healing with absence of an increase in complications such as swelling²6¯³0.
