Mendota Mental Health Institute Honored For Its Inpatient Psychiatric Care

Mendota Mental Health Institute (MMHI) has been named as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America. MMHI, which is operated by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), received this honor for achieving excellence in performance on its accountability measures during 2012 for the Hospital-Based Inpatient Psychiatric Services (HBIPS) measure set. The honor recognizes MMHI’s commitment to accreditation and to positive patient outcomes through evidence-based care processes.
