Non-metastatic prostate cancer: rationale for conservative treatment and impact on disease-related morbidity and mortality in the elderly.

Conclusions: Our study demonstrated systematic undertreatment of elderly patients with aggressive, non-metastatic PC with regard to local treatment based on chronological age alone.
