33: Relationship between symptoms and urinary biomarkers in women with dry overactive bladder

Urinary urgency without incontinence, frequently referred to as “dry overactive bladder” is a poorly understood condition. Our aim was to investigate the relationship of clinical symptoms (urgency and pain) with urinary biomarkers of neuroinflammation in women with urinary urgency without incontinence.

ConclusionDescriptions of bladder sensations associated with nocturia in women with OAB were diverse and overlapping. It is important to report clinically and in research why patients have nocturia as this will have bearing on its treatment.
