Spiral carbon fibers modified Bi2WO6 with enhanced photocatalytic activity

The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman, electron spin-resonance (ESR) and surface photovoltage spectroscopy (SPS). The results reveal that SCFs can significantly tune the separation behaviors of photoinduced carriers, promote the surface hydroxyl level and the formation of •O2−. Trapping experiments reveal that holes (h+) and superoxide radicals (•O2−) are the leading active species during the photocatalytic abatement of rhodamine B (RhB). Photocatalytic performance of SCFs/BWO composites was evaluated by degradation of RhB. When the mass ratio of SCFs/BWO is 1.0%, the photocatalytic performance of SCFs/BWO composite is nearly 3 times of that of the reference BWO. Decoration of BWO by SCFs is a powerful strategy to ameliorate the photocatalytic activity of Bi2WO6.

CONCLUSIONS: In Romanian population, the MMC of mandibular first molars, when present, is commonly associated with a second distal canal, unlike the mandibular second molars where the occurrence of a MMC was associated with only one distal canal. When performing the preoperative evaluation, it has also to be considered the patient gender, since the male∕female ratio of MMC was 1:3 in mandibular first molars and 5:1 in mandibular second molars. To characterize the dorsal ulnar corner fragment with regard to size and morphology using 3-dimensional software and computed tomography (CT) scans, as it presents in low-energy intra-articular distal radius fractures occurring in the female postmenopausal population.
ConclusionOur study estimated the number of stroke patients undergoing CTA for suspected LVO and those eligible for thrombectomy in relation to the population. Numbers were essentially the same throughout the week, and during office and on-call hours. Our data can be used to make adequate staffing plans.
