Geographic variations in hip fracture incidence in a high-risk country stretching into the Arctic: a NOREPOS study

ConclusionsIn Norway, the hip fracture incidence was lower in the north compared with the south. In addition, we observed an east-west gradient with the highest incidence in the southeast and lower incidence in the coastal southwest. While there has been an overall declining trend in hip fracture incidence over time, regional differences are still apparent.
