Gender-Specific Differences on the Association of Hypertension with Subclinical Thyroid Dysfunction.
Conclusion: We demonstrate that hypertension is associated with subclinical hypothyroidism, but not with subclinical hyperthyroidism. Moreover, females with subclinical hypothyroidism are more likely to be associated with hypertension than males.
