ConclusionsSeizure semiology is heterogeneous in pure insular-onset epilepsy. Differences between the anterior and posterior insular seizures reflect the functional organization of the insula. Particularly, the different types of motor symptoms may help to distinguish anterior from posterior insular seizure onset.
