[FrontPageAfrica] From the onset of history, the world has been plaque by diverse kinds of diseases which seized upon the lives of mankind. From the 14th century of the Black Plaque which consumed the lives of more than 200 million people to the Spanish Influenza of 1918 which killed more than 50 million people. While the Asian Influenza of 1957 killed almost 2 million people, the Hong Kong Influenza of 1968 is recorded as taking the lives of more than a million people.
