Human induced pluripotent stem cells ameliorate hyperoxia-induced lung injury in a mouse model.
This study highlights the potential benefit of using iPSCs to repair damaged lung tissue through possible modulation of the inflammatory response, leading to novel therapies for acute hyperoxia-induced lung injury and the prevention of bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
