ConclusionsOur results indicate that MO patients presented with a younger initial age of migraine onset and that sensory aura symptoms in MA patients may predict the presence of RLS. However, we did not find support for relationship between the degree of shunt and clinical parameters of headache.

Conclusions: Youth with single or multiple concussions report greater headache interference - but not higher headache intensity - compared to youth without concussion. Although higher headache intensity and interference were associated with more self-reported cognitive symptoms, headaches did not correlate with cognitive test performance. ConclusionNewly diagnosed migraine patients are not being properly treated, as indicated by their excessive use of acute therapies and short time on preventive treatment before discontinuation of that treatment. Further study of the reasons why patients discontinue preventive therapy (adverse events, no response, etc.) and continue to excessively use acute treatments once their treatment regimen has been established is needed.

Abstract Prolactin (PRL) secreting adenomas are associated with high incidence of headache. The role of hyperprolactinemia in the headache context is not clear, nor is the effect of its treatment on headache. Methods: The present longitudinal study evaluated hyperprolactinemic patients (69), in terms of presence and characteristics of headache before and after hyperprolactinemia treatment. Results: Headache was reported by 45 (65.2%) patients, independent of the etiology of hyperprolactinemia. The migraine phenotype was the most prevalent (66.6%). Medications used in the treatment of headache not changed during the study. ...
