Conclusions: This meta-analysis proved that tDCS intervention significantly improved the naming performance of PPA. Future studies must confirm the effects of tDCS on naming intervention by using meta-analysis including many RCT studies.

We present a case of 59-year-old man who presented with seizures and dysphasia due to left frontal lobe cystic mass, which was excised and turned out on histopathology to be of thyroid origin. Total thyroidectomy was performed and histology showed multifocal papillary microcarcinoma with the largest focus of 3mm with no other adverse features. The patient had ablative radioactive iodine postoperatively, with subsequent exit scan showing no uptake in the brain. CONCLUSIONS: This is the first observation of SD occurring after cSDH evacuation. SD occurred at a rate of 15% and was associated with neurological deterioration. This may represent a novel mechanism for otherwise unexplained fluctuating neurological deficit after cSDH evacuation. Theta burst stimulation (TBS) is a novel form of transcranial magnetic stimulation that rapidly alters synaptic plasticity (1). During TBS, short bursts of high-frequency (typically 50 Hz) stimulation are repeated at 5 Hz (200 ms interval). When TBS is delivered in trains separated by rest periods (intermittent; iTBS) it has shown long-term potentiation-like effects on cortical neurons. In the last several years, numerous reports have indicated that repeated applications of iTBS have efficacy to reduce symptoms of major depressive disorder (2).

We describe, for the first time, a case of developmental dynamic dysphasia (DDD) in a right-handed adolescent boy (subject D) with cortical malformations involving language-eloquent regions (inferior frontal gyrus) in both the left and the right hemispheres. Language evaluation revealed a markedly reduced verbal output affecting phonemic and semantic fluency, phrase and sentence generation and verbal communication in everyday life.
