Remodeling of Diaphyseal Diameter of Forearm Bone in a Child. Case Report.

We present a case of remodeling of the diaphyseal diameter of a forearm bone in a child. A 12-year-old boy had a narrow diameter of the radial diaphysis following the removal of a buried plate. The diameter of the radial diaphysis was decreased by half. Osteotomy and internal fixation were performed without graft harvesting from another site of autologous bone. The diameter of radial diaphysis was sufficiently remodeled. PMID: 32015199 [PubMed - in process]
