German company acquires part of Cerner's assets

A German health care software company is acquiring part of Cerner Corp.'s portfolio in Germany and Spain.   CompuGroup Medical SE is buying the products for about $248.9 million, and the deal is expected to close in the third quarter. The products include medico and Soarian Integrated Care, which are health information systems in Germany; Selene, a leading health information system for public hospital s in Spain; and Soarian Health Archive, a system for digitizing and storing health information.…
