Medicaid expansion slashed uninsured rates in Diabetes Belt, study finds
(University of Virginia Health System) The Diabetes Belt is a swath of 644 counties across 15 southeastern states that are stricken with high diabetes rates. Improving access to care could help prevent or slow the progression of the disease.
