Coping styles associated with glucose control in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus

ConclusionThese findings suggest that adaptive emotion ‐focused coping supports glycemic control in T2DM patients who do not use insulin. Additional studies using a longitudinal design are needed to further examine the relationships between psychological factors and glycemic control.
