Students Try Healthy Food in Push for Fresher Menu

Elementary school children reached for little cups of brightly colored vegetables, five varieties lined up neatly on a table. The taste-test is part of a larger project, the Poughkeepsie City Farm-to-School Program, which aims to bring more fresh local produce into the school cafeteria.
