Treatment of severe lichen planus with the JAK inhibitor tofacitinib

Lichen planus (LP) is frequently difficult to treat. Here we show that JAK-STAT signaling is activated in LP and that treatment with a JAK inhibitor, tofacitinib, was effective in 3 patients with recalcitrant erosive LP.
