Sarcoid dactylitis

AbstractA 74 year ‐old woman was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2012 with cutaneous and pulmonary granulomatous lesions, as well as mediastinal lymph nodes. She was initially treated with topical steroids, hydroxychloroquine, and minocycline for cutaneous lesions with poor efficacy over time. In 2018, thalidomide wa s started for unsightly cutaneous sarcoids on the face and hands. This treatment was discontinued in March 2019 due to hepatitis. The cutaneous sarcoids became painful, especially on the fingers with progressive dactylitis (Figure 1).
