ConclusionsOur study reveals the need for targeted patient ‐education about the benefits and limitations of follow‐up. In order to meet increasing costs of cancer care, individualized follow‐up procedures adjusted to risk of recurrence and late‐effects in cervical cancer survivors are warranted.

AbstractWe read with great interest the article byhttps://obgyn.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/action/doSearch?ContribAuthorStored=Sauvegrain,+PriscilleSauvegrain et al. entitled “Understanding high rates of stillbirth and neonatal death in a disadvantaged, high ‐migrant district in France: a perinatal audit”.1 This well ‐designed study confirmed again that maternal overweight/obesity increases perinatal mortality. We would like to address some points that merit further attention. The intrauterine environment can affect the long‐term health of the offspring has been widely accepted. Maternal high pre‐pregnancy...

We examined the oligodendrocyte‐mediated demyelination and axonal injury. To address this issue, we established a new scanning electron microscopy analysis to observe ultrastructural myelin morphology. In addition, we focused on kallik rein 6, a serine protease, secreted by oligodendrocytes in the central nervous system and proposed a new molecular mechanism of kallikrein 6‐mediated demyelination. In this article, we discuss the pathological roles of oligodendrocytes in mouse models of EAE. We also highlight recent findings of abnormal myelin formation and axonal injury in EAE.

ConclusionsIn dentate situations, the two tested IOS systems achieved a clinically satisfying accuracy for capturing gingival contour in anterior maxilla, with a comparable or superior precision to the CI. TRC achieved a similar trueness and a higher precision level compared with OC.Clinical relevanceIntraoral digital impressions could be a recommended method for recording 3-dimensional gingival contour in the esthetic zone.

Background: In deep inferior epigastric perforator flap surgery, the amount of perfusion achievable in the contralateral side over a midline is unclear. Predicting contralateral perfusion preoperatively using computed tomographic angiography will allow efficient breast reconstruction with decreased complications. The authors used computed tomographic angiography to determine whether contralateral perfusion is related to blood vessel status across the midline. Methods: Preoperative computed tomographic angiography scans and intraoperative perfusion in patients who underwent breast reconstruction with a deep inferior ep...

Conclusions: Malformation of the middle cranial fossa is an early, perhaps the initial, pivotal cranial morphologic change in Apert syndrome. Increased cranial fossae depth is an inherent characteristic of the maldevelopment. Normalization of cranial volume and circumference overall may not achieve a normal skull structure, as it does not correct regional craniocerebral disproportion.

Patrick G. EddingtonLots of very important stories are going to get passed by, very understandably, due to the ongoing COVID-19 national emergency we ’re all trying to survive. Here’s one story that I hope does not get permanently subsumed by our public health crisis: the total debacle that is the FBI Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) surveillance application process.Today, the Department of Justice Inspector General released a Management Advisory Memorandum (MAM) about its follow up audit work in the wake of its Crossfire Hurricane (i.e., Carter Page FISA surveillance scandal)report from D...
