Infections after allogenic transplant with post-transplant cyclophosphamide: impact of donor HLA-matching
Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a curative therapy for many malignant and non-malignant hematological disorders [1,2]. Although matched-related donor (MRD) or matched-unrelated donor (MUD) are considered the ideal sources of hematopoietic stem cells, many patients lack timely access to a suitable matched-donor, especially in the context of aggressive diseases.
