Worsening disability status in multiple sclerosis predicts urologic complications

ConclusionUpper tract changes and other major complications were uncommon. Complications were related to MS progression, resultant increase in total disability, and the need for intervention to maintain functional continence. Lower tract infections occurred more frequently in patients with the need for catheterization.
