Obese adolescents with PCOS have altered biodiversity and relative abundance in gastrointestinal microbiota.

CONCLUSION: Alterations in the gut microbiota exist in obese adolescents with PCOS versus obese adolescents without PCOS and relate to markers of metabolic disease and testosterone.
