The diagnosis of a potentially life-threatening cancer is a documented stress that encompasses biological, cognitive and socioemotional dimensions. Early introduction to palliative care is important in addressing stress and its outcomes. For young and middle-aged adult (20-59), this diagnosis creates unique needs of which little is known.
