Mentored Learning Communities (MLC) in a Regional Interdisciplinary Palliative Care Training Program (S754)
The shortage of trained interdisciplinary PC providers in the Chicago area fueled local HPM leaders to develop the Coleman Palliative Medicine Training Program. What was initially a 2-year training program in 2019 was compressed and redesigned and MLCs were added for intimate peer-to-peer learning, mentoring, and support.
