Living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) has been associated with increased psychosocial stress among pediatric IBD populations. Elevated psychological stress can exacerbate disease activity and IBD symptoms like abdominal pain, which in turn can negatively impact children ’s mental health.
