Patient data hiding into ECG signal using watermarking in transform domain
AbstractElectrocardiogram (ECG) watermarking provides secure communication of patient information lies in a 1D- ECG signal. The primary challenge in ECG watermarking is the deterioration of an ECG signal which causes the loss and impotence to extract patient information. This paper proposes a wavelet method based watermarking scheme for patient information hiding in the ECG as a QR image. Here, we first convert the 1D-ECG signal to 2D-ECG image using the Pan –Tompkins algorithm. We use a wavelet transform to decompose 2D-ECG image. Wavelet analysis can capture the subtle underlying information of the ECG. Then we further decompose the detail coefficient of wavelet and the QR image using QR decomposition for embedding data. The embedding factor value c alculation is adaptive by harnessing the entropy value of the signal. The hidden data is easily extractable with no distortion at the extractor side. The ECG data we use in this paper is from the MIT-BIH database. The results on this dataset suggest that our proposed approach is useful in patient in formation data hiding scheme in ECG. The proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art.
Patches made from human placenta could prevent men becoming impotent following prostate cancer surgery. Incontinence and erectile dysfunction can occur in up to seven in ten men.
International Journal of Impotence Research, Published online: 18 February 2020; doi:10.1038/s41443-020-0240-xRE: neurogenic bladder is an independent risk factor for complications associated with inflatable penile prosthesis implantation
The pathophysiology of erectile dysfunction was highly contested in Renaissance medicine due to the believe in witches and incantations.1,2 A newly-found treatise by the physician Wolfgang Reichart (1486 –circa 1547) challenges the contemporary view that bewitchment as a cause of impotence defies any natural explanation. Reichart studied in Tübingen and worked as a town physician of Ulm since 1512. Nearly 600 letters of his letters are preserved, but only half of them are edited. The letters are not primarily medical in nature except one casuistry on melancholy and circa 60 letters which can be considered epistolary medicine.
Normal and pathological networks related to seizure propagation have got attention to elucide complex seizure semiology and contribute to diagnosis and surgical monitoring in epilepsy treatment. Since focal and generalized epileptogenic syndromes abnormalities might involve multiple foci and large-scale networks, we applied electrophysiolpgy (cortco-cortico evoked potential; CCEP), and tractography to make detailed diagnosis for complex syndrome. All 14 epilepsy patients with no or little abnormality on images investigations underwent subdural grid implantation for epilepsy diagnosis. To perform quick network analysis, we ...
ERECTILE dysfunction is a very common problem, particularly among men over the age of 40, but experts have suggested eating a certain fruit could boost blood flow to the penis and reduce the risk of impotence happening.

The therapy delivers up to 2,400 pulses of sound to the shaft of the penis over 20 minutes. Six sessions gave significantly better results than a standard impotence pill alone, Italian researchers found.
Seventeen men visited a hospital in Turkey with abnormal vision after taking sildenfail, the main ingredient in Viagra. The symptoms wore off after a maximum of 21 days without lasting damage.
FRIDAY, Feb. 7, 2020 -- Viagra can salvage a man's sex life, but in rare cases it may temporarily steal his sight. Researchers report that some men who took sildenafil -- the generic form of the impotence drug -- suffered from vision problems,...
