Outcomes and prognostic factors for patients with relapsed or refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia who underwent allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation: a KSGCT multicenter analysis
The outcomes of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) in patients with non-remission acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) remain poor. Although several studies have reported the outcomes, most of their cohort were small or consisted of heterogeneous populations [1 –11]. Heterogeneity of patient characteristics or criteria for non-remission status makes the interpretation of the results difficult. The detection of ALL cohorts with extremely poor prognosis after allogeneic HCT is particularly important from the point of optimal use of available medical resour ces, including its cost and donor's burden.
