SNJASM6 was isolated from the seaweed Sargassum myriocystum J. Agardh. The Streptomyces sp. culture was optimized with a key ingredient for the yield of Bs production. The emulsification index in surfactants, oils, hydrocarbons were estimated by using Tween 20 (62.52 ± 0.41), Coconut oil (63.52 ± 0.19) and Xylene (62.38 ± 0.31) respectively. Subsequently, the starch and yeast extract was the best-optimized sources for the Bs production which were found to be (68%) and (65%) respectively. The biochemical study and the structural characterizations such as TLC, FTIR, XRD, TGA, and GC-MS confirmed the lipid nature of the isolated biosurfactant. An efficient water surface tension significantly decreases from 69.2 to 32.8 mN/m, however, the isolated biosurfactant, has a micelle concentration of (36 mg/L). The emulsifying activity and stability of Bs were also studied at the various condition like temperature, pH and NaCl which were found to be 58%, 76%, and 65% respectively. Around (200  μg/ml) of purified lipid Bs derived from Streptomyces sp. showed antimicrobial activity against pathogenic bacteria and fungus. Thus, the isolated Streptomyces sp. SNJASM6 (accession no MF383378) Bs having potent antimicrobial activity could be bioremediati...
