Effects of the recurrence pattern on patient survival following SABR for stage I lung cancer.
Conclusions: A total of 81% of recurrences involved the lungs. Patients with solitary lung recurrences/second primary lung cancers had the longest overall survival suggesting definitive treatment should be considered. The effects of statin use need to be explored further.
