Anterior segment optical coherence tomographic characterisation of keratic precipitates

Keratic precipitates (KPs) are an aggregate of inflammatory cells on the corneal endothelium [1]. They are found in multiple conditions, principally uveitis, but also in infectious keratitis [2] and corneal transplant rejection [1]. Different patterns have typically been ascribed to different conditions based on slit lamp examination findings, such as stellate KPs in Fuchs ’ heterochromic iridocyclitis [3] and “mutton fat” KPs in granulomatous uveitis [3].
