"He just lost it": Addressing the epidemic of firefighter suicide

New statistics estimate that twice as many firefighters in the U.S. die by suicide then in the line of duty. In response, fire officials across the country are looking at possibly cutting back on two-day and three-day shifts so that firefighters can get more sleep and down time, especially for those assigned to very busy fire stations.
