Molecular epidemiological study of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis isolated from sputum samples in Eastern Cape, South Africa.

This study gives a general overview of drug resistant strains and the circulating strains in the Eastern Cape, South Africa and it shows that the common Mycobacteria in the province is the Beijing strain.
