131. Utilization of a Ride Share Service to Improve Missed Appointment Rate in an Adolescent Clinic

Adolescent primary care practices serve populations at higher risk for health disparities. Missed appointment rates have been shown to be higher in this population and directly affect access to care and lost revenue. Transportation has been identified as a major cause of missed appointments in this population and is also recognized as a social determinant of health. Therefore, we sought to reduce the missed appointment rate in our clinic by providing a free rideshare service to our patients to improve access to care.
