Adenosine production in mesenchymal stromal cells in relation to their developmental status.

CONCLUSION: Mesenchymal stromal cells are potent producers of ADO and are, therefore, able to increase immunosuppression. As MSC differentiate into chondrocytes, they lose this ability and may take on other functions.
