The association of preoperative thyroid-stimulating hormone level and the risk of differentiated thyroid cancer in patients with thyroid nodules: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Our systematic review of the literature aimed to confirm the controversial association between preoperative TSH levels and the risk of DTC in patients who present with thyroid nodules. We extracted and assessed data from 10 key publications that previously investigated papillary thyroid carcinomas to predict the risk of malignancy.
