ConclusionsWe demonstrate relatively high rates of somatic mutations of cancer-related genes, includingKRAS andGNAS, in cfDNA isolated from PCFs irrespectively of the pancreatic cyst type. Further studies on molecular mechanisms of pancreatic cysts malignant transformation in relation to their mutational profiles are required.
