A performance comparison of patient pathways in Nordic capital areas - a pilot study for ischaemic stroke patients.

Conclusions: Extending and deepening international performance analysis in order to cover patient pathways, including primary care and social services, is very useful for benchmarking activities when focusing on diseases affecting older people.
