We appreciate the authors ’ interest in our paper.1 However, for the readers, I want to emphasize that the main finding of the paper is the prognostic importance of radiologic extranodal extension (rENE) for human papillomavirus (HPV)-mediated (HPV+) oropharyngeal carcinoma (OPC). The authors’ concern regarding the term “HPV-mediated,” and the HPV testing algorithm, are interesting companion points.
