Overlap syndrome: the coexistence of OSA further impairs cardiorespiratory fitness in COPD.
CONCLUSION: Overlap syndrome causes greater hemodynamic and ventilatory demand at the peak of dynamic exercise. In addition, OSA overlap in individuals with more severe COPD impairs CRF.
