Orlando Health acquires local orthopedic firm, to build $250 million downtown hospital

Orlando Health is preparing to build a first-of-its kind hospital at its downtown campus. The $3.8 billion nonprofit health care system will break ground in late spring on the $250 million Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Hospital, after acquiring Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic for an undisclosed sum, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
