Jam it!

This is a great concept — Just A Minute Instant Tutorials – short one minute refresher videos for use on your smartphone, tablet or laptop, either streamed or downloadable. It is also a great competition. It comes from the collective brain of Casey Parker, Minh Le Cong and Tim Leeuwenberg — and I suspect at least subconsciously inspired by Matt Dawson and Mike Mallin’s One Minute Ultrasound app — all five will feature at SMACC GOLD too of course. Here’s the low down as of 5th September 2013, from the JAMIT — Rural Medicine Australia page, where you can submit your entries: Entry to the competition is free. Entry submissions start on 3rd September and close on 25th October. Voting closes on 30 October at 10am. By entering the competition the entrant certifies that: they have signed consent forms from all people visually identifiable in your video. they have obtained all the appropriate permissions and clearances for all music and images that appear in the video. All music and images must be original, permitted or copyright free. all other footage is the entrants original work. All entries must be submitted as YouTube links to video files of maximum duration of 60 seconds. All entrants must ensure that there are no corporate names or logos used in the video, this includes anyone wearing and/or displaying corporate names or logos.
