HHS, CMS: Transparency in Coverage

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is extending the comment period for theNovember 27, 2019 proposed Transparency in Coverage rule. The proposed rule outlines requirements for group health plan and health insurance issuers to publicly disclose cost-sharing information to participants, beneficiaries, and enrollees. Comments are now due by January 29, 2020.
