Call for Applications: Plastic Surgery Foundation/Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation Dermal Tissue Grant Submission deadline: December 2, 2013 Eligibility Applicants must be an MD, DO, or PhD and hold a full-time clinical or research position at a U.S. or Canadian Institution. For an applicant to be eligible, they must be an Active or Candidate member of ASPS or have an Active ASPS member as a Co-Investigator. If you are currently in your training, you may still apply to the program with sponsorship from an Active ASPS member at your institution. If you are not an ASPS member, or you are currently in your plastic surgery training and you are awarded a MTF/PSF Grant, for administrative purposes, The Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF) will recognize the project’s Co-Investigator or Sponsor as the Principal Investigator. Applicants may submit more than one grant application if scientifically different. Only one project will be funded per applicant. Priority for funding through this grant mechanism will be given to well-developed applications with a high likelihood of impact on scientific discipline and/or on patient care. The (PSF) and the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF) recognize the importance of fostering the development of surgeon scientists and innovative research in dermal allograft tissue transplantation .
