ConclusionsRecurrent HCC after LT is often in extrahepatic sites with a decreased survival in those with poorly differentiated explant pathology, high bilirubin, low albumin, marked elevation of alpha-fetoprotein at recurrence, and peritoneal recurrence. Sirolimus-based immunosuppression may provide benefit.
