Can we explain environmental contamination by particular traits associated with patients?

ConclusionsOur study conducted in a non-outbreak situation, show a low rate of environmental contamination with pathogenic bacteria. Only 11% of our environmental samples grew with more than 2.5cfu/cm2, and they were related to non-pathogenic bacteria. We were unable to identify risk factors associated with the environmental contamination.
