Iraq War Contractors Allege Obligation To Seal Brief In $81 Million Award Appeal

PORTLAND, Ore - Iraq war contractors challenging the $81 million judgment for a dozen Oregon National Guard members chosen for a bellwether trial of hexavalent chromium exposure personal injury claims filed a response Aug. 2 in support of their motion to file under seal their opening brief in the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals; two trade groups filed briefs Aug. 2 in support of overturning the judgment (Rocky Bixby, et al. v. KBR, Inc., et al., No. 13-35513, 9th Cir.; See 8/6/13, Page 34).
