Under the Affordable Care Act, states were given the option to expand Medicaid in 2014. By the end of 2014, 32 states had opted to expand Medicaid and 19 did not. Dr. Matija Snuderl, neuropathologist and molecular pathologist at New York University Langone Health, was featured ina recent article appearing inNature (March 26, 2020, Vol 579, p S14-S16).
